The meeting on the 6th was great!

I (Wonderland), Matt, Tiffany, and Chris discussed the book and what we should read next. Matt led the meeting with questions. Tiffany was the only one who had read the whole thing up to then. She had listened to it on a podcast. I read up to page 74. I plan to finish it by next week, so I can head the discussion for the meeting at Linebaugh on the 26th, that is from 3:15PM to 4:30PM.

However, if you want, I’d love to get people’s notes or thoughts on the book, and post them on here. Anonymous or no. Same goes for how much info you want me to share for recaps of the past meetings. I am working on making a way to poll for books, and I will have the lists of banned books and links to those pages that I can find put on on this website.

Chris has suggested “Forever” by Judy Bloom (which was banned by the RUCO school board) since we all agreed that “Stone Butch Blues” is such a heavy read. We are going to be speaking about “Forever” starting with the August 3rd meeting.

Chris has agreed to make coffee for the following meetings at the Presbyterian church, and I am going to be providing the afternoon pastries. So, please let me know what you like!
